How Long Does It Take For Thymosin To Be Effective?
Sep 12, 2025| The duration of thymosin's effectiveness generally depends on the patient's individual condition.
Thymosin is a medication for liver diseases, suitable for hepatitis, cirrhosis, herpes zoster, genital warts, and various respiratory diseases. It can enhance the body's immune function and promote the activation of peripheral blood lymphocytes by certain mitogens, thus enhancing the body's defenses against foreign bacteria and viruses. Thymosin generally has a supporting role, enhancing the patient's immune function. Thymosin treatment varies depending on the disease; it may take one or two injections to be effective, or three, four, or even more.
Regular liver function tests are recommended during medication use. Caution should be exercised in pregnant women and patients under 18 years of age.
